3 Idiots
The idea around which it was based was good, but most of the things being exaggerated.
The movie starts off in the plane where Farhan fakes a heart attack to get off the plane. Exactly why did he have to be shown in a plane, he could have gotten the phone call anywhere. This was the first exaggeration.
Then came the bet: too much drama. When does it actually happen?
The situation as shown in Raju's house was sorry but was made fun of. To show his mother scratching his father with the same belan as she used to make rotis was mean and not required at all. It was gross!
Too many suicides. The main motive of the movie was to make the audiences understand the pressure of performing well, which was easily understood by one such instance, but three? When does one come across 3 such cases in the span of 4 years of their college life?
Exactly how clichéd was it to show that the protagonists take the camera up to the fellow's window to see him hanging by the fan? It was too obvious.
Pia was shown just as an eye candy, getting into chiffons at just the right times, and was not really required.
Then came in the factor of Rancho not being Ranchodas Shyamaldas Chanchad. Just to show how big a guy from a small household could become, the factor of fraud was brought in. It could have been shown in a better manner without getting into the circuit of forgery.
And of course, Mona and her delivery was just the icing on the cake. It was too much. Not only do engineering students conduct a successful delivery, they save the baby, by saying Aal izz well. That was totally wild, unrealistic and overly exaggerated. It was not required. We could have done without it as well.
Rajkumar Hirani created a catch-point in Aal Izz Well as he did before in Jaddu ki Jhappi and Gandhigiri.
The film was good in parts but the whole thing failed to blow me away. There were too many loop holes and too many clichés. It could have been more dignified and well made.

The Nobility!
It all started in January of 2009, but what has come of it now is unacceptable. The Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama! What for? What has he done to deserve it? What has he achieved so far?
Just nine months in office and this? This doesn’t speak too well of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. It just shows the partiality towards the so called super power of the world. It only depicts the preference that is given to a president who hasn’t accomplished much in his tenure, who hasn’t even completed his term.
He hasn’t solved any conflicts that bring peace to the world; on the contrary he just sent more troops to start the second war in Afghanistan and still continues to fight in Iraq. So where is the peace? It is all war for the US President. It is all words and no work so far.
The Nobel prize is a highly political appreciation of work of substance; it isn't a beauty pageant where you show off your nice clothes and make public appearances. The Nobel committee had the audacity to give away the prize on hope rather than on credentials. There are many more who deserved it and work not for the public’s eye but because it is required, because it is essential. This prize is a blot on the name of the Peace Prize winners of the past and many more to come, if they aren’t as well deserved as Mr. Barack H Obama.
With the coming of this news, the Nobel committee has lost all its credibility.
